The top request we hear from our guests is for a villa within walking distance of a restaurant, and if that is one of your must-haves, we think you will love Villa Encant. The house enjoys a fabulous location on the outskirts of Pollensa, a 12-minute walk from the Old Town. Here you’ll find an array of specialist shops in its winding streets and pretty squares, with enough restaurants that you can ring the changes every night for a week at least. There’s a wonderful Sunday market too, so you can stock up with fresh fruit and veg, pungent cheeses and traditionally cured meats for an instant meal bursting with local flavours. 

Charming by name and charming by nature, Villa Encant sits very prettily surrounded by orchards, with the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains rising up behind. Kids love the grassy gardens and the thrill of picking oranges fresh off the tree in season, while the grown ups can supervise it all beneath the shade of a huge old walnut tree. This is a house that’s designed for hassle-free holiday living, with a single-storey layout that’s ideal for little or elderly legs and Roman steps for easy pool access. If you decide to eat in rather than exploring nearby Pollensa town, there’s a handy little barbecue area for laid-back family meals, and when the kids are ready for bed, this is an idyllic spot to sit and enjoy a well-earned night-cap beneath the stars.
