You in a nutshell…

I'm a full-time mum of three which keeps me on my toes and I also run the overseas programme in northern Turkey – so in fact, I'm permanently on my toes!

Why do you work in travel?

I love travel and meeting new people all the time; you learn so much in life by sitting and listening or talking to others. I really enjoy hearing all our guests' experiences and helping them to achieve their holiday goals.

Why do you love your destination?

It's a beautiful, natural part of Turkey, where the food, culture and surroundings astound me, even after 15 years. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't see the beauty of where we live. I have an ever-growing respect for the day-to-day culture and the people that surround me.

Your top tip…

The sea is like a millpond in the early mornings, so why not enjoy an early trip with one of the local captains. Enjoy breakfast on board the boat, a refreshing swim and be back in your villa by noon in time for a spot of lunch and an afternoon siesta.

Not a lot of people know this but…

My primary qualification is actually in childcare; I used to run a day-care centre before I moved to Turkey.
