Just returned from a lovely meal at Galini in Agios Stefanos at the end of an amazing week. Weather has been superb. Rahi is such a lovely spot. Almost perfect in its position overlooking the bay and all the activity there. We enjoyed our drive to Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town. Jackie has been so friendly and reliable, helped with bookings for taxis and George, the boatman, made things easy. We’ve had a wonderful week.

The villa has everything you need and the village is just a few flights of steps away offering a friendly welcome. Stefanos Agios is a lovely village to stay. Supermarket staff, waitressing staff at the tavernas, coffee shops and bars were lovely. Ideal place to hire boats for the day and visit neighbouring bays. Not much of a beach in the village as such but if you hire a boat, there are plenty to visit nearby. Villa Rahi is situated up a number of steps very central to the village so close to all you need. The villa is a wonderful viewpoint to take in the whole bay and the comings and goings throughout the day, either from the balcony or the infinity pool. Villa Rahi has the wow factor with commanding views over Agios Stephanos. Tavernas, bar and mini-market within easy reach. The 96 steps up from the road would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but the views are certainly worth it. Our fifth consecutive year at San Stefanos – three in Rahi. We’re very much fly and flop – beach each day at Kerasia with superb lunches at the taverana (which is also lovely for dinner). We had an amazing week at the Villa Rahi. Jackie made us feel very welcome. The villa was immaculately clean and well-equipped with the most beautiful views. We spent most of our days at the villa, watching the yachts come and go and the antics of the local cats and ducks! We walked to Kerasia Beach where the sea was still warm enough to swim in October and there was a good taverna for lunch with a glass of chilled white wine or Mythos! On a cloudy day, Jackie organised a sea taxi to Corfu Town which is well worth a visit to see the fortresses, the Liston and the Venetian architecture. In the evenings we wandered down the few steps to Agios Stefanos village and started with cocktails at Waves cocktail bar followed by a meal at one of the restaurants in town. We particularly liked Eucalyptus, Galini and Kaparelli restaurants. The ladies in the nearest supermarket were wonderfully helpful too! We had a lovely escape and hope to be back in the near future.

Lovely holiday at San Stefanos. Returning back from a great week in fantastic Villa Rahi. Beautifully furnished with everything needed to hand including a great infinity pool (a bit chilly!) with wonderful views. Jackie was very helpful arranging a boat taxi to Agni Taverna for a lovely lunch. Despite strange times, both Simpson and locals tried to make life as normal as possible. Rahi is such a delightful place to stay. The owners are such lovely people. The location is excellent with a number of tavernas to choose from. We began most evenings at Wave cocktail bar (great apple martinis). We ate mainly at Gallinis (food and atmosphere so lovely). Eucalyptus has a lovely setting and food is also very good. We hired a boat from San Stefanos – great experience discovering all the different bays. Agni is a lovely place to stop for lunch. Kassiopi is fab. Limoni restaurant sits right on the edge of the port – great food. Great service and great spot to watch people and boats coming and going. The views are amazing! We love Corfu and will be back for sure.

This was our first experience of using Simpson Travel and won’t be the last! We feel very lucky to have stayed at Villa Rahi – the views, proximity to the village and all the amenities. Jackie has been the absolute best, making bookings for fab tables at restaurants and sorting out any issues. Her recommendations of places to visit were spot on and we enjoyed Old Perithia (quaint and charming), Pelekas (for the views) and Paleokastritsa. We spent most days on the beach at Kerasia – quiet, clean and a great taverna. We loved pretty much all the restaurants but especially Toula’s and Agni Taverna plus the water taxi with the lovely Dinos is a highlight! This has been a very relaxing and hugely enjoyable stay. What a villa and what a view! First time to Corfu and Agios Stephanos is fabulous. Recommendations: Palaiokastritsa, Angelokastro, Lakones and Makrades although in high season propably to be avovided as roads very narrow. View from Lakones is splendid though. Village of Perithia well worth a visit. Thanks to Jackie for arranging a boat pick-up to Agni Taverna – another good dinner – and for her local knowledge. I am almost reluctant to praise Villa Rahi too much as it has taken three years to get a week here after our previous visit as it’s so popular. The view from the terrace is amazing over the bay – watching yachts, speedboats and swifts diving in our pool! Down a few steps to the tavernas and bars or to catch a water taxi to Agni Bay. Hire a speedboat and explore the coves down the coast as we did. It’s the perfect villa for a couple, or two in our case. As with previous holidays the information and advice from the UK office when booking was excellent and with Simpson Travel the standard of accommodation, transfers and representatives in resort is consistently high – add on those little touches and it makes for a perfect stress-free holiday!

Villa Rahi was absolutely perfect for our family holiday in August from the beautiful interior of the villa to the gorgeous pool and terrace. Its elevated position meant we could sit and enjoy wonderful views across the bay, yet it was just a couple of minutes down the steps to be in the heart of the village.
