Tucked away in a private, one-acre plot just a mile from the coast, Can Pericas is the perfect retreat for some quality family time, conveniently placed for making the most of all that Puerto Pollensa and the north east of the island have to offer.

Set in larger-than-average grounds, this lovely house has all the character and reassuring solidity of a much-loved family home, spread out over two levels with a wonderful master bedroom on the first floor. It’s an ideal venue for a family holiday, with wide lawns for a kickabout, a pristine pool and the timeless appeal of swings for the young and young at heart. The interiors are bright, airy and immaculate, with lots of French doors leading to its many terraces. As with many of the island’s more traditional-style properties, the space is generous, with wide shady terraces inviting you settle in and finish that favourite novel, or uncork another bottle and let lunch flow shamelessly into dinner.

All this adds up to an unbeatable fly-and-flop destination for those in search of nothing more than rest and sunshine, but if you find yourselves restless after few days, it takes minimum effort to reach the beach at Puerto Pollensa (10 minutes by car). Head the other way and you’ll soon meet the charming streets, chic shops and tempting restaurants of Pollensa Old Town. If your little ones are still a little young for dinners out, you can always light the barbecue and ensure a fabulous family evening amongst the ancient olive trees that surround this delightful home-from-home.
