NEW FOR 2025
The Trapezaki area is a great favourite of ours, with its beautiful beaches nestled in the lee of mighty Mount Aenos, and villas in this area are in high demand. Summer in south Kefalonia is all about being outside, and the lovely garden at Villa Mariza is the perfect place to make the most of the long golden days. There are palms and olive trees for shade, grassy lawns to play on and plenty of room to eat and drink alfresco by the pool. The views from here are hypnotic, stretching over the sapphire sea as far as the north tip of Zakynthos in the distance. Sunsets are spectacular in this south west corner of the island, and you can enjoy this nightly show from the comfort of your own back garden, drink in hand, as the sky fades from violet to gold to black and the stars begin to shine above.
Villa Mariza was refurbished recently so that each of the three bedrooms has not only smart new décor but also direct access onto a terrace or balcony, so you can wake up to the amazing view. When you feel like diving into that incredible blue water, we recommend both Trapezaki beach, with its popular beach bar, and UNESCO classified Agios Thomas, ideal for older kids with rock pools to explore and a few diving spots for the brave. For a wider choice of facilities, there’s everything you need at Lourdas beach, a 15-minute drive away.
In Greece, a tourist tax may apply at your accommodation which will be payable locally, in cash, during the course of your holiday. Please use the link to view details specific to your accommodation. View tourist tax rates here.

Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
* For further clarification on Facilities and Amenities, please view the 'Details' tab for each property or speak to one of our experienced sales consultants.
Densely forested hills dotted with traditional hamlets and a coastline of small, quiet coves make Kefalonia an unspoilt Greek holiday delight. Its northeastern tip shelters picture-perfect Fiskardo, whose 18th-century houses stand proud with their flower-festooned balconies and carved doors. South Kefalonia hosts Argostoli, the vibrant island capital that still has an active fishing fleet alongside its buzzing cafes and restaurants. Come early and you’ll probably spot a loggerhead turtle in the harbour, or stay late and take a stroll down the waterfront promenade. Trapezaki is a little southern secret, with beautiful views over the sea to Zakynthos and up to Mount Ainos, the highest peak on the island. There’s an unspoilt sandy beach here with a single taverna, and if you’re looking for more choice, try Lourdas, a lovely long sandy/shingle beach lined with waterfront cafes and restaurants.
