Our first time in Corfu and what a fantastic holiday! We loved The Saints for many reasons: the high standard of the accommodation, a great location that is close to some beautiful beaches and within walking distance to good quality, authentic tavernas. The view from the villas and the pool is to die for and the general peace and calmness about the place certainly soothes the soul. The local representative, Debbie, was excellent and made our time there that little bit easier by making bookings on our behalf and sharing her deep knowledge of the island. My week at The Saints was balm for the soul. It has stunning views and is set back from the road, so there is little or no traffic noise. The sounds of kids playing in the evenings are joyful (and not intrusive or late) and, along with the kindness and thoughtfulness of the wonderful Debbie (who everyone rightly raves about), made this solo traveller's holiday hit that perfect sweet spot of peaceful solitude but never feeling lonely. The pool is refreshing and delightful, and the little cove down the hill - with its restaurants, boat hire and loungers - was perfection. The nearby restaurants were friendly and of excellent quality and value, and their owners lit up at the mention of Debbie's name - it opens doors! This is our second holiday with Simpson Travel and it certainly won't be our last. From website, to initial enquiry, to booking, to all communication, to arrival, welcome, stay and departure, everything that Simpson do is first class. My wife and I had a "wow" moment when we entered our cottage, Saint Stephanos, and saw the view from the terrace. If anything the imagery on the website doesn't do the size of the terrace justice and it's where we spent the majority of our time at the property. We chose to cook for ourselves on 3 nights and the kitchen has everything you need and we used the bbq on the terrace each time too. Special mention has to given to Debbie, the concierge at The Saints. Nothing was too much trouble, always with done with a smile and happy to give you the benefit of her knowledge having lived on the island for most of her life. She is the epitome of everything that is good about Simpson Travel. I suspect we will be returning to the Saints again as we had a fabulous break.

Our first time in Corfu and a beautiful place to spend it in. We explored some of the beaches north and our favourite was Barbati beach. We parked on the road by the church and walked down. We have eaten at all the lovely restaurants within walking distance, all very good. Rommeli has the best chips and friendly service and Mitsos is the most beautiful location.

Shay bas been unfailingly helpful and a font of useful information. We tried the local tavernas and whilst they offer a similar menu, our favourite were Anthi and Vitamins. Anthi was more traditional (with a soundtrack circa 1967!) with lovely owners, delicious food and complimentary desserts. Vitamins was friendly, popular and with more outside seating in these Covid times. We explored some of the beaches to the north by car and thoroughly recommend a trip to Agios Stephanos. A stunning location with numerous tavernas and restaurants on the waterfront and a succession of boat trippers stopping off. This has been our first trip to Corfu and Simpson has made our holiday relaxing and stress-free with comprehensive information and attention to detail – we have loved every minute! We would never tire of the wonderful view from The Terrace.

We are writing this as we sit on the balcony having breakfast gazing at that view. You could never tire of it. This spot and The Saints are so special. A perfect mixture and balance of peace, serenity and a local buzz, with all the amenities you need and the holiday food! You soon become part of the local community and welcomed warmly everywhere you go. Our days largely revolved around food choices and just being. Our tips are where best to eat! The two very best places are Vitamins and Glyfa. Vitamins for exceptional home cooked and healthy Greek cuisine. Try everything – we never had a bad dish. Their salads are stand out and the homemade desserts are so good. The staff are so friendly and charming. Glyfa is beyond doubt the best place for fish and seafood. Well-sized (not too huge!) portions, the freshest well balanced dishes. The tasting platter for two is just sublime. The boat trip to Taverna Agni is fun and you will enjoy great food. But for us the atmosphere is unbeatable in these two places. The little beach accessible via steps/path opposite Aphrodite is super.

Had a fabulous two weeks – mostly sunny and a weclome break post all the Covid locakdowns, etc. Felt very lucky to be getting away overseas. And this is just the perfect seeing to relax. Great views and a quiet spot. We enjoyed the local beaches and rented a boat – definitely the highlight of the trip pottering along the coast and stopping off to swim/eat. Shay recommended the Eucalyptus in San Stephanos which has a jetty and helpful staff who came out to moor the boat. Our favourite taverna by far was Agni Taverna in Agni – you can get there by boat taxi – again orgnaised by the marvellos Shay and in the evening the bay is very romantic – lit up by the lights of all the tavernas. The staff are fund and the food is excellent. Corfu town was a fascinating place to potter around.

My friend and I have just come back from 10 days in Corfu with Simpson Travel, a week at The Saints and three days at The Bella Mare Hotel. Both were absolutely fabulous, we had an amazing time and it was all very straightforward Covid-wise. I cannot praise Simpson Travel highly enough, they have been amazing throughout the last 16 months. We changed our date for this trip once and then our location from Kalkan to Corfu and it was all so easy. Special shout out to Briana in London who is outstanding, and to the lovely Jackie and Jo who looked after us so well in Corfu.

We booked one of The Saints villas and the whole experience has been exceptional. This started with the proactive communication through the unsettling and fluid Covid-induced changes. The booking team were always available for assistance and guidance. The accommodation was amazing – quite possibly the best view from any villa we have stayed in. On the island – Jackie was very helpful. She accommodated an extension so that we wouldn’t need to quarantine on return to the UK – amazing thoughtfulness and assistance. I can’t recommend Simpson Travel highly enough. Few companies understand the difference between a service and a product – by providing an exceptional service they turn a trip into an unforgettable holiday. We have already booked for 2021.

Our second visit to The Saints and we’ve already booked for next year. The views from the terrace are unmatched! We loved our morning coffees at Almyra (Nissaki Beach). Do go for a pizza at Midnight – excellent pizzas and a nice vibe. We went to Corfu Town one afternoon/evening – lovely sitting on The Liston and watching the world go by. The White House has good food but quite pricey.

Quite a home from home. Such a treat to be away after a very difficult year. Simpson made us very welcome – even a bottle of Prosecco for our anniversary! Despite the doom-mongers and even our family thinking we were mad to get on a plane...we did and it was fantastic! Perfect virus antidote! Not once did we feel our safety was compromised. Postponing our planned trip in May, Simpson could not have been more helpful in rescheduling our travels for August/September – with a few tweaks along the way. Our first week was as The Saints in Corfu and we are almost loathed to say how lovely it was, as we may have trouble booking again! Perfect location, amazing views and the on-site concierge Debbie, was fantastic! What a gem...so welcoming, nothing too much trouble and always one jump ahead for anything we needed or wanted to know about. Second week on Paxos at Bay View was lovely too. It was a real contrast to Corfu…busy little port and lots going on! Villy looked after us very well and served a great breakfast under the trees. This was our first trip with Simpson Travel. Part of the charm of The Saints in general, and The Terrace House in particular, is its stylish appearance, modern plumbing combined with features such as the interesting hand-painted 50-year-old Portuguese tiled floor in the kitchen making it unique. We recently stayed at The Saints and enjoyed the most wonderful three weeks. We were supposed to be coming in May for two weeks and to Kefalonia for a week in June but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were unable to travel at that time. Eventually, we decided to postpone our Kefalonia trip until next year and extended our September visit from two weeks to three. The Simpson staff in Corfu are great, from meet and greet at the airport to organising any extras you may need. We have just returned from a wonderful week at The Saints, perfectly located and high standard accommodation with panoramic views of the sparkling Ionian Sea and a cracking pool. For those concerned about travelling in the current climate, statistics show Greece has handled Covid-19 incredibly well. And as tourists we found the only noticeable difference to normality was the diligent wearing of face masks and shields by restaurant staff. Beyond that, it was life as normal, albeit with far fewer tourists. Simpson Travel were highly professional in the run up to our departure despite the nightmarish uncertainty for travel firms. It is great to be able to find a character villa of such quality that is suitable for just two adults, and to have peace of mind that everything is managed for you from initial booking to resort departure. The Terrace House was marvellous with many areas to sit out and enjoy the scenery, both in and out of the sun. The pool was very welcoming though it was not too far to walk down to the local beaches/bays to swim in the sea. The availability of good local tavernas and a supermarket within easy walking distance helped us to decide on this accommodation, and we were not disappointed by any of the ones we tried. Easy to see why the NE of Corfu is the preferred area to stay in.

This was our first holiday with Simpson Travel and we were delighted! The Terrace House in The Saints was a revelation: a beautiful villa nestling among olive trees with views across the bay from three different terrace. Although The Saints has other cottages, ours felt completely private. We only encountered other guests occasionally at the pool in passing. Every morning we enjoyed uninterrupted views over Nissaki bay and every evening watched the sunset over the hills. Idyllic.

The Saints is in an enviable location with superb views of the sea and across to Corfu and Albania. Although located on the main coast road, the design of the complex, set behind the church, with the outlook to the south, means that there is no traffic noise at all, yet it is so easy to walk to shops and restaurants, as well as the local beaches. The terrace at St Stephanos has a shaded area with squishy cushions for relaxing, as well as sufficient sun for basking, and the night views with the lights around the coast to Corfu town just kept us outside for hours. The shared pool is large enough and the views from the terraces around the pool are exceptional. It is so hard to leave the complex and explore the island. This coast of Corfu is great if you enjoy sea swimming, as the beaches are pebbly, so the water is crystal clear. A particular favourite of ours is Kerasia, with the one taverna and small snack bar being all that you need for a day on the beach. An added bonus is being able to park on the beach and amble over to your sunbed for the day. A wonderful region of Corfu and excellent accommodation from Simpson Travel.

As soon as we arrived it was just blissful. Spotless and spacious accommodation with a superb view of Corfu and Albania. Delightful staff on hand but unobtrusive. Good supermarket and bakery and fine restaurants a few minutes away. Excellent walking and sea swimming nearby and handy bus stop to travel both north and south to Corfu town so no need for a car unless you want to tour the island. Boat trips to Albania, Corfu town and Paxos are easy to arrange if you want a change. All in all, it was a truly relaxing holiday.

We returned to St. Matthias again after a 2-year absence and found it to be still a lovely, relaxing, welcoming home from home. The apartment is spotless and is cleaned three times per week and everything that you could hope for is available – including a welcome basket full of Greek and not so Greek essentials for the first day. We sat on the terrace on our last morning at the Saints – the sun coming from around the corner, coffee in hand, silver streaks in the sea. We’ve been staying at The Saints, mainly The Terrace house, for around 30 years – and yes, although it’s been refurbished several times it still retains its original welcome. It’s a haven of calm and comfort. Bev, Joy and Debbie, the local Simpson Travel representatives, can’t do enough to please and are there whenever needed. Our holiday was a mixture of sloth and walking – St Stephanos to Avlaki, Agni to St Stephanos and Kaminaki to Kouloura. Porta to Old Perithia will have to wait for next year!

The Saints – great location, really comfortable accommodation and brilliant service from the local Simpson Travel team. Just a short journey in the car from Corfu airport, The Saints is located on a hillside overlooking the bay towards Corfu Town, a beautiful view you never get tired of. A great bakery, local shop and tavernas are all within a few minutes' walk, and the small, secluded beaches are easily accessible via a network of footpaths. Our cottage was perfect family accommodation. Both bedrooms were larger than average and it was a joy having a king-size bed and choice of pillows. The welcome pack was the best I've seen – delicious local yogurt and cheese, wine, coffee – in fact everything we needed to get us through the first evening and breakfast until the shop opened. The shared pool is stunning and having the Simpson Travel team on-site meant we could pop in and ask the reps for their recommendations on tavernas/boat hire, etc.
