Simpson Travel Loyalty Club

Did you know that our Loyalty Club now has almost 3,000 members? And that some of them have travelled with us 20 or even 30 times in the last 20 years?

We’re very grateful to all Club members not just for their continued faith in us, but for the valuable insights they can share to help us understand what’s most important to our guests and how we can keep on delivering on our promises. We recently contacted three of our Diamond Loyalty Club members, who have clocked up an impressive 92 Simpson Travel holidays between them, to ask them to share their thoughts and experiences. Here's what they said:

 


Which is your favourite Simpson Travel destination and why?


 

“A hard question to answer! Every Greek Island has a unique vibe and energy. But if I had to choose one it would be Corfu. It is a vibrant lived-in Island but still with its quiet spots you can still find far from the madding crowd!”  

“Favourite Simpson Travel destination is a difficult one to answer as we love all of the countries and islands we visit, but on balance Crete probably comes out top, due to the variety of scenery in different parts of the island, the lovely beaches, gorge walks, fabulous food/wine and generally great value for money.”  

“Our love affair with Paxos began in 2013 when invited by Graham Simpson to preview Purple Apricot. A wonderful week and 10 holidays later the magic of the island remains… so many hidden treasures, we have made many friends during our many visits to the island.”

 


What’s your most memorable holiday moment with us?


 

“My first time driving from Preveza Airport to Lefkada and eventually driving half way up the side of a mountain overlooking Sivota Bay and arriving at Albatross Villa was without doubt a great moment. It’s a very special place and I love the dusty perilous single track road up!” 

“So many memorable moments, so difficult to choose. Each holiday is memorable for many reasons; fireflies in May, sunsets from Eremitis, coffee in Roxi’s bar watching boats in the harbour, sandwiches from the bakery and the walk round to our favourite beach, Mamari. Walking the many old donkey paths taking in stunning coastal views. After 10 holidays on Paxos we still find new places to explore, new restaurants to visit and old favourites to revisit.” 

“Again so many memorable moments, but a particularly favourite pastime is spending Sunday morning at the market and then lunch at Celler es Moli in Pollenca, Mallorca.”  

 


What is it that keeps you coming back for more?


 

“I rebook with Simpson Travel for both the quality of the accommodation, the ease of booking and the superb staff in the office and on the ground in situ. Without doubt Simpson Staff are amongst the very best. Friendly, kind and ready to do and go one step beyond what’s is expected of them.” 

“One phone call and the holiday is booked, everything is sorted out and questions answered by very helpful and knowledgeable staff. For me, it’s stepping off the hydrofoil in Gaios, being greeted by Simpson friends and being told “Yours is the red car Chris, see you up at Purple Apricot”. No queues, no hassle, no insurance negotiations, such a difference. Helpfulness of all the Simpson team, always there if help or advice is needed. For us the quality of the small hotels offered, the carefully chosen locations and attention to detail leaves little to be desired. Quite simply, nothing is too much trouble throughout your holiday experience.” 

“We keep returning to Simpsons because of our trust in the company, the quality of the properties they operate in some great locations (villas and hotels) and the excellent service we receive from staff both here in the UK and at our holiday destinations.”

 


And finally… what’s the best thing for you about being a Loyalty Club member? 


 

“It’s nice to have some extra spend when you travel. You can use to upgrade your car, take extra luggage, book an airline seat or have some extra shopping ready waiting when you reach your destination. Also, if you have special occasions your loyalty can go toward a restaurant booking. It’s all done seamlessly!” 

“We return each year because of the all-round quality of the holiday experience, from start to finish. Being rewarded for returning provides little extras which adds to our holiday experience. We value being able to contact Sami for advice and guidance when needed.” 

“Being a Loyalty Club member makes you feel special and important to Simpsons. Also, the benefits on offer help to provide extras which you might not otherwise enjoy or participate in e.g. an airport lounge, or wine tasting which contribute to ancillary costs such as airport car parking and hotels.”
