This newly completed villa is aptly named. Thanks to its mighty wingspan, the albatross can glide effortlessly above the sea for hours, sailing peacefully on the breeze – and here, with a bird’s eye view of Sivota’s pretty harbour, lush green hills and magnificent sunsets, you can enjoy the same perfect serenity from a truly spectacular vantage point.
The hillside was once covered in olive groves and vineyards, but they had long been overgrown when the owners of the land, Yiannis and Athanasia, decided to realise their vision for a contemporary family home. Drawing on local architecture, natural materials and their own personal style, the result is a comfortable summer retreat with light, bright interiors and vibrant works of art painted by Yiannis himself.
Spacious balconies, an infinity pool and an outdoor dining area lend themselves perfectly to relaxed summer living: leisurely mornings spent watching the boats in miniature and evening drinks as Sivota Town comes to life below, with a sparkle of lights and an inviting enthusiasm for good food and generous, family-friendly hospitality.
Sivota's harbour, with its shops and tavernas, is just a ten-minute drive away and there are a number of sandy beaches easily accessible from there. Or hire a boat and spread your wings a little further with adventures along the coast or a day on the delightful island of Meganissi nearby.

We have had such a wonderful week. A huge thank you to Athanasia and Yiannis for being so kind and caring, and to our Simpson rep, Maria for many helpful tips. A beautiful villa which we have thoroughly enjoyed.
This is the 4th time we have come here. It's almost like a pilgrimage for us all. It never lets us down. Weather has been (as always) excellent and our evenings out along the quayside have been (again) excellent.
Third time to this villa and it was everything that we expected. To get here at all after the last year we have all head, was a great relief. The weather was a little mixed, but it didn't detract from a lovely week.

We have just spent some wonderful days at Albatross. We survived the road to get here but once you have conquered it once you get the hang of it. We enjoyed some lovely food in Sivota. The villa was heaven to come back to – cool and comfortable, lovely pool with the view to die for.
Albatross is well worth the effort. Following the Simpson line of 'a road less travelled', there isn't quite enough here, but then paradise is never at the end of a motorway, and so it proved with this villa and its absolutely stunning location overlooking Sivota. Just magic!
