It’s a mere five-minute walk to the soft sand of Puerto Pollensa’s magnificent sandy bay, and even closer to a rocky beach if you just want a quick swim in the enticingly clear sea. If you’re more of a pool person then you might opt to spend your whole day at the villa, which has beautifully-kept grassy lawns for younger ones to play on, and plenty of room on the shaded wrap-around porch so you can relax and keep an eye on them in comfort. This villa also has its own covered barbecue kitchen so the kids can eat their fill without even changing out of their swim things – happy holiday memories that will endure long after your stay is over.
In keeping with the other villas in this sought-after area, Villa Alfa is very chic and very comfortable. With its stylish interiors and all en-suite bedrooms, it’s a great fit for two couples or a family with teenagers, who can enjoy the freedom of getting around independently without a car. The main centre of Puerto Pollensa is a very pleasant walk away along the seafront (25 minutes); an evening ‘paseo’ along the promenade is an integral part of any local or visiting Spanish family’s routine, so it’s perfect for a spot of people watching and a great leg-stretch before or after dinner. Alternatively, if you’ve had a long day out or have little ones in tow, you’ll also find an excellent selection of places to eat within a five to ten-minute radius. Whatever the make-up of your party, the chance to go car-free for a week and still enjoy everything this wonderful area has to offer is one not to be missed.
